Bio-Regeneration is an injectable treatment that contains a specific, patented combination of hyaluronic acid and six specific amino acids (Glycine, L-Proline, L-Lysine, L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Alanine) – substances that occur naturally in the skin.
The formulation supports the skin’s extracellular matrix, which plays an important role in maintaining firmness, elasticity, and overall skin quality.
Rather than adding volume or stimulating isolated collagen types, Bio-Regeneration aids in cellular optimisation as it works by regulating fibroblast function to support the synthesis of key structural proteins including collagen, elastin and fibronectin.
By promoting the production of these proteins, Bio-Regeneration supports extracellular matrix homeostasis which is associated with improvements in overall skin quality, increased elasticity, enhanced hydration and increased skin thickness. Amino acids are able to reduce the degradation process of hyaluronic acid by the body’s naturally occurring enzyme hyaluronidase.
