Dr Christina Tan graduated with a medical degree from the University of Melbourne. She then spent five years working in various Melbourne metropolitan hospitals, and has completed basic surgical training.
This was followed by working for two years as a rural GP in country Victoria, during which time she attained her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Since returning to Melbourne, she has worked as an inner city GP, and completed her fellowship of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (Faculty of Medicine).
Christina is a full-member of the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine, the peak body representing qualified and experienced doctors who specialise in cosmetic medicine, so that patients can rest assured they are being treated by an appropriately trained expert. Christina carries full medical indemnity insurance for your safety.
Christina is passionate about helping others look and feel their best without the pain of surgery, using the safest and most popular non-invasive cosmetic treatments available. Christina practises with integrity, and is committed to continuing professional development, having attended many conferences both here in Australia and overseas.
Christina also has a strong interest in consumer education to help patients make informed decisions when deciding to pursue non-surgical cosmetic procedures. She shares her professional knowledge in her blog and on Healthshare, Australia’s leading digital platform that aims to empower Australians to make better health choices.
